Found Careers: The ‘Tinder for Jobs’ app that will change the way you hire

Looking for staff? Say goodbye to complicated job search platforms and badly formatted CV’s, and say hello to ‘Found Careers!’

Voted by 15-29 year olds as the #1 most useful job platform in Australia, ‘Found Careers,’ is a revolutionary app that takes the hassle out of hiring and applying.

“But we’ve already got job seeker apps,” I hear you say. “What makes ‘Found’ so different to the others?”

Glad you asked! Unlike other job apps,‘Found’ is a completely mobile-tailored platform; allowing companies and job seekers to find each other directly through the app. It also cuts out the need for tiresome and specifically-tailored CV’s.

“Wait – no resumes?!” Yep. You read that right!

Focusing on connecting local job seekers with local businesses, ‘Found’ aims to ‘kill the CV’ and make the process easier for both employees and employers. It’s surprising that it’s taken so long – I mean, who honestly enjoys reading through stacks of paper CV’s and time-wasting questionnaires filled with duplicate information?

“We used Found to hire two staff for our business, an Admin Assistant and a Sales Executive. They’ve been with us for several months now, and are working out great. It was very easy using the Found for Business app, and the candidates we got through were much better than the ones of other places we posted the ads”. – Quirin Schwaighofer, MadeComfy Co-Founder

So how does it work?

Using a radius setting and industry filters, ‘Found’ allows users to find the jobs and staff most relevant to them. Just like Tinder, job seekers can swipe right to find jobs that suit them, while employers can also search for staff, based on their proximity to the business.

For businesses, the process of finding and hiring a new employee is simplified with just three easy steps:

1. Creating a job ad using a brief description and some graphics.
2. Looking through interested candidate profiles to shortlist or reject.
3. Chatting directly with shortlisted candidates from inside the app.

And while retail giants like Cotton On are launch clients of the app, it’s also suited to small businesses. As their Co-Founder Andrew Joyce explained to us:

“Found is designed to work for all businesses – no matter what size, or what stage they’re at. One of the first businesses to use Found was MadeComfy, a startup that disrupts the short term renting space in Sydney by taking the hassle out of hosting AirBNB properties.

With over 3,000 jobs currently listed on the platform, and around 30,000 job applications processed per week, Found Careers is seeing enormous success within the market. Recently expanding into Brisbane and Melbourne, Andrew shared that the app will soon be rolling out to the rest of Australia in early August.

Are you a small business looking for staff? Search ‘Found for Business’ in your app store, and download it for free today! For larger businesses, contact Found directly via their website.
