Hit your performance goals with AdWords Campaign Groups!

Last week Google AdWords announced the release of AdWords Campaign Groups. As its name suggests, this new feature allows advertisers to group AdWords campaigns (such as Video, Display, Search and Shopping Campaigns) into a single group with common targets. The benefit of this is that it gives advertisers the opportunity to better monitor and reach performance goals for similar campaigns.

According to Google AdWords, you simply need to set up your campaign group, and then click on the ‘overview’ or ‘performance target tabs’. From there, you can monitor the performance of your targets based on the number of clicks/conversions you wish to receive, how much you plan to spend, or the average CPC/CPA that you want to maintain. Google AdWords will then show you a single view of how your campaign group is performing against those goals, and will estimate the goals you’re most likely to achieve by the end of the campaign period.

It’s also possible to edit or create performance targets – at any time – for existing campaign groups!

According to Google AdWords, the new feature is already helping businesses – such as Wrike – to better achieve their performance targets.
